Printing Single and Multiple Reports Using code in Sage Enterprise ManagementV9
Description: Sometimes we may need to print or preview the multiple reports at once by one click in Sage Enterprise Management, this can be achieved through coding.
Following steps are used to directly print the multiple reports with or without preview and single or multiple reports at a time in Sage Enterprise Management.
Example shows creating one report, having all sales orders those which are not invoiced and not closed based on customer code.
YSOHREP is report, which is designed in crystal report and Customer is input parameter.
Once report has been completed through crystal reports then have to create report codes in Sage Enterprise Management.
Report function is under:
Development à Script Directory à Actions à Reports
YSOHREP is new report code
As shown below, the destination can be “preview” or “printing” directly (optional)
We should assign parameters in parameter tab if there are any parameters for report and assign “Yes” for Ent field, when entering the value manually for input parameter in Sage Enterprise Management.
Once done, we will have to write code to either print or preview the report.
The following is used to print or preview the report through Sage Enterprise Management code.
The following code is used for execute multiple reports at a time. Two reports (YSOHREP AND YSOHREP1) are given here. One is used to preview and another is used to send it directly to the printer without even preview.
Note: The second parameter used to represent whether the report should preview or print directly. We can print any number of reports by using this process.
Reports after execution of the above code:
