Exporting data to csv or txt Files in Sage Enterprise ManagementV9
Sometimes we want to export the data to CSV or TXT file when customers have multiple ERP systems interface. For instance, whenever we want to import the data from Sage Enterprise Management V9 system to any other ERP system like SAP or PeopleSoft etc. then it is necessary to export the data from Sage Enterprise Management V9 system to CSV or TXT. If there is requirement of fetching the data from multiple tables, there is no standard export template. We will have to do this process using the code.
There two ways to export data from Sage Enterprise Management V9 to CSV or TXT:
- By using import/export Templates
- Using Code
Following procedure describes how to export the data from Sage Enterprise Management V9 to csv file:

The following screenshot shows a code which is used to export the data to csv and a method to create csv file at particular location for example creating CSV in TEM folder in SEED folder in Sage Enterprise Management.
Note: It is possible to assign any extension in place of csv like .txt or .dat etc. as per customer requirement.
Once above code has been written then click on create button which gives us message “File has been created successfully” if there are no errors.
Then check path where file has been created as per path given in code.
It is possible to see new csv file in temp folder with given name during the coding.

This method is helpful in creating all type of files in Sage Enterprise Management V9.
